Album Notes

Formed in Hershey, Pennsylvania in 1995, Our Man Paul is a rock band which draws it's influence from groups such as Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Live, Creed, and Fuel. Although solidly grounded in the hard rock genre, Our Man Paul has an original sound and lyrics which distinguish their songs from what the band sees as the majority of substance-free popular music.

Relocating to Boston in 1998, the group recorded their second full-length CD, Affluenza (March 2001). Containing 10 new recordings, this album surprised and delighted fans all genres of music all across the northeast. The first track from this record, "Saturated," received significant airplay on local stations WBCN & WAAF. Boston Metronome Magazine praised the release, calling it "as hard and rocking as you could hope for." Deek, a DJ at WBCN in Boston, shared his affinity for the group as well, calling them "very talented."

In January of 2002, another track from Affluenza, "Shadows," was featured in an episode of the WB television series Dawson's Creek.

The future for Our Man Paul is looking very bright indeed.

Overall a good CD, but the band is obviously HEAVILY influenced by Fuel---which can be good or bad depending on whether you like Fuel or not.

Our Man Paul breaks the monotony of today's crappy radiomusic with this top-o-the-line LP. These guys are going somewhere. Get in early so you can brag to your friends that you knew about Our Man Paul first.

This CD is one of the best I have heard from a new band in a long time. The last time I was a turned on from a new release was Pearl Jam - Ten. The sound produciton is top of the line, and the songs just rock. Buy the CD, you won't be disappointed.
