Our Savior Worship Band (OSWB) is the "House Band" for the 10:45 Worship at Our Savior Lutheran Church located in Nashville, TN.
80% of the profit from the sales of this album will go directly to feed children in Haiti through the ministry of Trinity/HOPE.
Trinity/HOPE provides children, teachers, and the cooks in Haitian Christian schools a hot nutritious meal each day using established and successful processes. For most of the children it is the only food they receive each day. At this time, Trinity/HOPE provides meals to over 15,000 students in over 80 Christian schools.
An album by Our Savior Worship Band had been long discussed. Many people had expressed a desire to take the music from Sunday morning with them into their everyday lives. We were excited to record as a group and prayed for the the Holy Spirit to guide the process and timing. Even as we were finalizing plans to head in to the studio, there was still a desire among us for this project to have a deeper purpose.
In the fall of 2010, Matt had lunch with Keith Logan, President and Executive Director of Trinity/HOPE. Out of that meeting our prayers became reality. Our purpose to record became two-fold; provide an additional outlet of worship for the listener and to bring both Physical and Spiritual nourishment to more Haitian children. We are extremely honored and humbled by this opportunity, giving all thanks and praise to our Heavenly Father.
