Album Notes
"Drink the Sky", music co-written by Sarah Perrotta and Carl Adami with lyrics by Sarah Perrotta features Sarah: voice and piano, Carl: bass, synthesizer, sequencing, drum programming, electric guitar and production, and Jason Foster: acoustic guitar. The album was recorded, produced and mixed by Carl at his studio, Rice n Beans Southeast in High Falls, New York. Self-released in October of 2000, the nine track debut was labeled “Best Modern Rock Album of 2000” by WKZE Radio 98.1, Red Hook, New York and was put into rotation on 46 radio stations throughout the Northeast.

Their sound “uniquely interfaces Massive Attack’s trip-hop soul, Pink Floyd’s atmospheric textures and 10,000 Maniac’s folksy pop. A stirring nine track collection anchored by the heart stopping vocals of Sarah Perrotta.” –Shout Magazine.

Songs from this album have been featured on two documentary films: a rock climbing video, Big-Up Productions Dosage Volume 1, and Changing Identities, a story of traumatic injury and art narrated by Meryl Streep.

Outloud Dreamer disbanded in 2003. Since then Sarah has continued writing and in 2005 re-united the remaining members of Outloud Dreamer’s live band: Guitarist Chris Lane` and Drummer Johnny Watson. In 2008 Sarah Perrotta released her solo album "The Well" featuring legends Tony Levin (of Peter Gabriel and King Crimson) on bass and Garth Hudson (of The Band and Bob Dylan) on accordion. In a word - fantastic
I love it. Heard a couple of songs on a movie soundtrack, hunted around and found it on CD Baby, bought it, and lovin' it.

Great groovy flow
First heard this on Josh Lowells 'Dosage' Bouldering DVD. Has a slow, mellow, groovy flow. Hunger, Numb, and Constant Flux are the highlights but the whole album is great.

AWESOME for Outloud Dreamer Drink the Sky.
AWESOME!, still seem a underated term for Outloud Dreamer Drink the Sky.
First heard both tracks Hunger and Numb on Josh Lowells 'Dosage' Bouldering DVD. Couldn't get Hunger out of my mind. I knew i had to find out who this band was. I Enjoy the CD So Much Have 2 copies on for the Car and One for Home.

powerful stuff
If you're looking for powerfully evocative music that won't make you want to slit your wrists, this is it. I play it when I dancing or working. There's something about the Dreamer that fires my imagination. It's liquid, musical tai chi.

First heard them on the same radio station that promoted CD Baby, WKZE.
