Here's the best place to start out (out)!

It's sometime around January 2005 and being really, really frustrated with the lack of Industrial artists found in mainstream culture and craving something new-- I decided to turn to the Indie scene to see what I could uncover. The first place I looked was Garageband, and my earliest efforts were futile to say the least. Most artists under the Industrial genre there seemed to miss the mark entirely and worse, many on them didn't seem to understand what Industrial music was in the first place. But regardless, I kept checking the Industrial artists there everyday to see if anyone new and better had popped up.
For weeks it was disappointment after disappointment, until sometime in February "No. 5 United (new mix)" showed up in the top 10 of the Industrial chart *and* was getting quite a few reviewer's awards as well. I gave it a listen, not knowing what to expect, and within 30 seconds I knew this was what I was looking for. This is neither a lie nor an exaggeration-- I bought "1989-1999" before "No. 5 United (new mix)" had even finished playing! A risk sure, but 28 tracks for 15 dollars?!! I'd have to like something on the CD, and at this point even if only one-fourth of the album was good it would quench my thirst for some new Industrial.
Since I purchased the CD directly from Radio Valkyrie Records, and was one of the first 100 people to do so, I was treated to a bonus download of "D.W.I. (Original Version)" and listening to the track only further validated that I had made a good purchase. In fact, while I waited for my CDs to arrive I frequently listened to both "No. 5 United (new mix)" and "D.W.I. (Original Version)" hoping that everything on "1989-1999" was going to be just as good.
A few days later when I finally had the CD in hand and popped the first disc in my CD player I was completely blown away. Much to my surprise "D.W.I. (new edit)" was drastically different than the "D.W.I. (Original Version)" which I had gotten used to. I immediately thought "Alright! Someone who's still old school about remixes!" which was definitely a plus in my book. But that wasn't all, not by a long shot. "1989-1999" had me saying "Man I love this!" track, after track, after track so much that it rarely left my CD player for the next six months.
Buy this 2CD set right away! You will *NOT* be disappointed!!!
