\"...with the overload, the helicopters came, the hilltop glowed...\"


While \"Virtual Sound Images\" was a departure for Out Out into more upbeat, clubby territory, \"Assumed Outrivaling\" is the continuation of this tangent, the 3 AM after-effects of attending V.S.I.\'s club atmosphere. Or a soundtrack for the travel home.

Fans of earlier Out Out works - \"Finched\", in particular - will also find familiar textures and melodic themes scattered throughout.

One hour long, \"Assumed Outrivaling\" is an excellent soundtrack for the waning hours when the adrenaline is still active, but all the edges are blurred.
