REVIEWS

2 parts catchy power pop with a dash of progressive flavor...

From the opening strains of Should Have Known, Overcurve has an ear for creating catchy hooks that remind the listener of something familiar, yet retain complete originiality. The album features guitar-oriented songs with big choruses and interesting production. While it doesn't have the sheen of some of the over-produced power pop common today, this album is able to forge an immediately identifiable sound built around the vocals of singer John Stefan. Summary: It's nice to hear something that evokes memories of great classic rock bands while forging ahead in the new, modern soundscape.
