Album Notes

Overoth are a Death Metal Band hailing from the Belfast area of Northern Ireland. They Formed in late 2005 by four close friends with a raw passion for Death Metal.

They have been playing the Irish scene for little more than a year now and have only recieved great reception wherever they've played. Their first Demo "Pathway to Demise", although lacking professional recording quality has recieved several great reviews and has been described as ‘Bludgeoning’ by Peter Theobalds (ex Akercocke) and ‘Better than my first demo’ from Martin (Decapitated.) With good feedback and confidence form their first release the band decided to enter the studio again to record new material.

Over the late spring of 2007 the band recorded a new CD entitled Death Personified in Komodo Studios, 6 tracks of blistering death metal, by far the best material the band have recorded to date. Continuning to play alongside established acts like Massacre, ENT, and Desecration Overoth are showing their true potential.
