Now back to our story.....
Whether on the water aboard a classic schooner, a lonesome old deadrise workboat or, gee' even on land, Them Eastport Oyster Boys invite you to celebrate life in the Maritime Republic of Eastport, Historic Annapolis and the Chesapeake Bay region. So come on, the crabs are hot, the Natty Boh's cold and the is water fine.
Crowned the "House Band of the Chesapeake" by the promoters of the Philly Folk Festival, no other troubadours capture the flavor of the Chesapeake Bay region like Them Eastport Oyster Boys. Through their songs and stories, you are taken back to the days of the skipjacks when life was slow and oysters and crabs were the centerpiece of life. And then, Kevin and Jefferson bring you back to today's Land of Pleasant Living for a peek into the life of those who treasure this unique bit of America along the Chesapeake Bay.
Take the Oyster Boys along with you and crew on the boat (or old Volvo) and go Chesapeake Cruisin' where even on a Reef-Down Day, all you need is a Good Hat, Good Dog, Good Boat... we'll shuck the oysters... you make the stew.

Eastport has moved south to North Carolina. Wonderful CD, lots of fun listening to it out on the boat.

Now I need to go to my boat
author: Laurie
I had such a great time listening to this CD. If I had this CD when I married my husband 10 year ago, Good Hat, Good Dog, Good Boat would definetly been our wedding song. The Eastport Oyster Boys are a big hit on the Sacramento River in California.
