Album Notes

Some call it rock, and some say it's pop, whatever that means these days. Some say it's glam, in the most modern sense of the word. You may have heard it referred to as a throwback, you know, to the 'good ole days of rock n roll, while some argue the concoction is ahead of it's time. Some say it's not their thing, and others say it's perfect. Pacifico calls it their own:

Their own brand of rock without rules, reservations, or limitations. Define Pacifico's sound. That's what's next, am I wrong? Ok, ok. Pacifico can swagger like the Stones, bounce around the room like Elvis Costello's 'Radio, radio', and run straight through you like Iggy and the stooges searching and destroying. Pacifico can be a riff-rock rollercoaster, while flowing major to minor like a circa '69 Beatles in lurid embrace with AC DC. Maybe a punk version of the Cars, Or better yet the Knack, or is it the Kinks 'You Really Got Me', if they layered vocals like the long lost cousins of Freddie Mercury and Brian Wilson.

Now that you're thoroughly lost, I’ll lead you out of this maze. Pacifico has meshed equal parts; volume and melody, and aggression and release to create their own take on popular music. Metro living is constantly pouring inspiration into Pacifico's half full cup and has proven the perfect backdrop to win some and lose some while growing into their tattooed, eyeliner clad skin. Regular performances at premiere local and regional music venues, and featured music on various MTV sitcoms have catapulted Pacifico onto the radar roving music map.

Pacifico remains poised, but patience is a virtue. "Anthology" collects all of their early works as well as a bunch of previously unreleased songs wake up the earbuds of people around the world.
