Music has the power to energize, to inspire, to pick you up off the ground.
Music reaches people in ways that traditional therapy sometimes cannot.

Life brings many challenges, and coping with cancer is an experience like no other. At Pacific Oncology, it is our mission to provide patients with cutting edge cancer care in spirit of hope and compassion.

The Bridges CD Project seeks to deliver the power of music to our patients and their families, as they cope with the cancer experience. We asked for, and were astounded to receive, many wonderful musical offerings from artists located throughout the greater Portland metropolitan and neighboring areas. Many of these musicians have been touched by the cancer themselves, either personally or through a loved one. Though their music is diverse, their collective voice sends a message to all who face cancer:

You can get through it. There is hope. There is beauty in the world and there will always be someone who understands and appreciated what you are going through.

From one side of Portland to the other, from Pacific Oncology to the many lives we touch, and from the hearts of the musical artists to you...

Building bridges is what this project is all about.
