If you're looking for a sampling of the best Latin Music out there, you can find the very best on Paco Gatsby's CDs. Founded by trumpeter/arranger Bob Porter, whose credits range from Lassie and Laugh In to Kay Starr and more, a travelling pioneer for the Baha'i Faith who moved to Guatemala in 1970, set up camp and stayed there only to become one of their most recognized musicians and artists. His band, Paco Gatsby, performs regularly at the Sacramento Jazz Jubilee almost every year in May and they seem to be the highlight of the event, showcasing not only the top Latin hits, but some of Bob's Dixieland arrangements of Guatemalan folkloric classics such as "Ferrocarril de los Altos", mixed in with the latest merengue, salsa, cha cha and a whole lot more. What more could you ask for?

An upbeat, spicy mix of salsa that gets me dancing, clapping and tapping my feet. A definite good mood CD -I've got no ability to frown when this CD is playing! From the very first notes...enjoyable through and through. The rendition on New York, New York is priceless!
