Album Notes

To give a better idea of our sound, the following is a recent write up about our music:

What came thru the PA was a breath of fresh air and a sigh of relief. We had become accustomed to bad demos and mediocre "genre bands". It felt like ages since we had found anybody actually writing songs. The possibilities of show and the excitement of embracing a new band and sharing them with others was too much. I instantly loved the name Padallock Grafts. Yes, I would say I liked it right from the start. A solid strong rhythm section pushing thick beats and structure along side chunky guitars and underneath it all was life; an actual rhythmic pulse. The biggest surprise that poked thru the one-track demo was the amount of confidence that resided in the arrangements and over all composition of the song. Nothing beats structure within chaos and imagined songwriting. Their music sung like an experience and not a regurgitation of indie-rock influences. The melodies were not forced with heavy handedness it felt natural, and the song kept you at it's side on a hip stroll thru pop brilliance.
