"Telling" is often an empathic art as explained by Kathleen , it is different from storytelling. StoryTellers come from all walks of life, and all are different. In a sense they deliver a story with a clear purpose and clear end. "Tellers" and "telling" differ, "Tellers" are more akin to 'weavers of dreams and visions.'

As "tellers" we are the keepers of memories and weavers of dreams. Some 'Tellers' come by their tales from others meant to share with anyone who will listen...but others...others come by their stories in different ways...

These are the "Tellers'...spirits, memories stories and voices have a way of finding these people...searching long and hard for the right voice...the right spirit for the 'telling of the tale'...the weaver of dreams...the keeper of memories.
Stories and memories come from deep within the heart and mind of the teller. Each story when told time and time again allows us to reach back and enfold our lost loved ones within our hearts. Even in the most devastating of loses; telling has the power to move us away from the aching hurt of loss, to the healing comfort of one memory after another that in time, soothes our aching hearts.

CheyWind StoryTellers know that when we lose someone who is essential to every breath and thought that we have, we are forever changed! We know that for many it is always yesterday, but we believe in the therapeutic healing power of the telling.
