ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Maryland's Horrorpunk sensation PAIN!'s newest release "Waking The Dead" showcases the bands high energy and witty lyricism. Front man Timmy PAIN's commanding vocal style and clever lyrics are backed by Lead Guitarist Rever End PAIN's old school and new school punk, rock and metal riffs broken up by short but sweet leads. Rever's guitar work is reinforced by Rhythm Guitarist Drako PAIN. Holding down the bottom end is Bassist Baron Von PAIN and keeping the beats on their frantic pace is Drummer Nekro PAIN.

PAIN's music ranges from the old school sounds of Danzig, The Misfits and The Ramones on songs like "Dr. Frankenstein" and "Hell of a Good Time", to the newer school sounds of Pennywise and NOFX on "Dont Walk On My Grave" and "Redrum", to the hard rock sounds of Social Distortion and The Supersuckers on "You Suck" and "Horror Queen", to the psychobilly influence on "Full Moon Fever", and an almost thrashy "Burn it Down" ala the Cro-Mags.

The album reflects the bands high energy live performances that win them new fans at every show they play, opening up for the likes of The Misfits, Vampires Everywhere, The Cro-Mags, Orgy, The Koffin Kats and Stellar Corpses. This album is not be missed by any punk, rock or metal fan!
