Uncivil Servant, the brand new video-enhanced EP by Northern Kentucky Thrash Metallers Pain Link, breathes fresh air into the lungs of modern metal. With their latest release, the band has expanded the scope of metal sub-genres included on their previous self-titled demo, and full length effort 'The Burden of Sin'. Drawing on both old
school metal and modern influences, Pain Link bridges the gap between the classic thrashing riffs of yesteryear, and the abstract, innovative metal of today.

From the opening track, Uncivl Servant is like a wrecking ball of sound & fury. "The Power Lies Within" kicks things off with a vengance, leaving you wondering what will come next. What comes next is an all out metal assault from start to finish. Three more blistering tracks never relenting for even a moment. Pain Link's confidence as songwriters and performers is evident by the use of various forms of musical expression, to set the intense mood of this release. The musicianship is precise and superb.

From the full-blown thrash intensity of "The Power Lies Within" to the crushing assault of "March Of The Patriot", this latest Pain Link effort is an exuberant display of aggressive riffs, powerful two-part vocals, pounding drums and bass, and over the top shredding guitar solos that define the true essence of this hard working band.
