This is an awesome cd. I've had it for a couple of years now, and I always have it ready to pop into my car stereo. His voice has this great low, gritty quality that draws you in and makes you want to hear more---he's the real deal for sure. Kevin's a well kept secret in many parts, & that's a damn shame. This guy's one hell of a songwriter, and musician. I'd classify this as roots rock, with a great soulful, beefy sound. There's not a bad tune here, and I really look forward to his future stuff. You realize there's too many overated artists out there when you see some honest dudes like this guy getting overlooked.
