Palace of Black is what metal is supposed to sound like

To think that this is a debut CD and it is of such amazing quality boggles the mind. I suppose when you have musicians the likes of Paul Marko and Mike Vescera, though, it should be no surprise. Throughout the album, we are constantly reminded of the grandeur and heaviness that true metal music possessed. Unfortunately it has been watered down and emaciated of late. The only remedy for that disease is the soonds of Palace of Black representing metal in its finest and purest form.
