Album Notes

Palindrome is a groundbreaking quintet comprised of some of the best and best-known musicians residing in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our collective pedigree is extraordinary as we have played with many of the major figures in jazz.

On this CD we play all original music from the pen of Graham Bruce, our trumpeter, composer, and arranger extraordinaire. The occasional standards we play in live performances are delivered with a completely fresh approach that breathes new life into the best of the genre. In short, Palindrome is helping to set a new standard for small-group jazz.

The members of Palindrome are:
Chris Amberger -- bass
Lee Bloom -- piano
Graham Bruce -- trumpet, flugelhorn
Bryan Girard -- saxophones
Andre Sumelius -- drums
