This recording is jam packed with 15 tunes some short great for mp3 ring tones (being instrumental) plus some long tunes that are ambiant and hit the pillow kind of stuff.
Again the music is experimental, but tunes not noise except for the free jazz stuff that is full blown wild.
Thest recordings began in the S.F. bay area in the mid 80's using a state of the art home computer controlled studio using live electronics. If you wish to hear progress check on the links to the myspace page.
The tune Artifact had a load of college radio play. There is a rock, jazz, classical edge to everything. Using computer controll and lots of instruments and layers gives a full listen each time you can pay attention to a particular instrument and the tunes will grow on you but never be pop stuff. Most of which i do has great melody so there is infact this driving force to keep things moving. You will not though hear guitar sounds much as its more sonic with orchestra type instruments and some far out world and alien robotic sounds. Just lots to dig into and again this product is not skimpy with 15 tunes. And if you like accoustical piano and film track ideas they are found recorded here also. Take the Lester Palocsay plunge. Some call me lester sonic molester find out why with a buy. Something true to share Ringo and Kenny G both came to me on my myspace page, No one forced them and i believe they have critical ears.

As ambient textures shift into melodic feedback into jungle grooves, acid jazz,

It's been Eleven years since I've had the opportunity to review Lester Palocsay's work, and his new collection develops many elements present from the previous release into a release heavy with soundstuffs, mixed and manipulated, looped and combobulated into entities all lovers of sound exploration and music on the edge will consume eagerly. As ambient textures shift into melodic feedback into jungle grooves, acid jazz, and dance bops, the combination is a headrush of exciting combinations. Highly recommend for all the you-know-who's out there.
