Album Notes

Songs have been sung for millennia about the love, joy and peace that are the true gifts of the Christmas season. The songs in this collection are offered in that spirit. To remind each of us of the gifts we have been given. To remind each of us of the gifts we have to give others.

Pamela Jansson is a lyric soprano. She is from Perth, Western Australia and now lives with her husband and two children in a small town just outside of Stockhom, Sweden.

Pamela studied voice at The Academy of Performing Arts in Perth, followed by more work with Berle Sanford Rosenberg(Budapest Opera) and she continues vocal coaching with acclaimed teacher Prof. Solvig Grippe in Stockhom. She has performed concert and recital work in Perth (Western Australia), the famed Leeuwin Estate (Margaret River in WA), The Leider Society of WA, Stockholm (Sweden), and Mariefred (Sweden). "The Gift of Christmas" is her debut album.
