Artist, songwriter and CEO of Salty Water Records, Pancho V (born Richard Bustamante Jr.), came out of Galveston Island (Texas) as one of the pioneers of Latin Hardcore (Gangster Rap) in South Texas. Born and raised in the streets of Galveston, TX, PanchoV created and influenced a movement that tore the South with its tough, real, and raw lyrics and beats. The sounds of Salty Water Records stretch across the state, reaching fans from the gulf coast to the border towns of Texas; starting a strong following that can be seen all through the South reaching California.

As CEO of Salty Water Records, All while collaborating with many artists such as: KB Da Kidnappa and Icy Hot of Street Military, Rasheed Da General and South Park Mexican (SPM)of Dope House Records, BAM, Klondike Kat of South Park Coalition; among many others. He has performed in major cities such as: Galveston, Houston, Corpus Christi, San Antonio, Austin, Brownsville, Laredo, Dallas, Boise (Idaho), Phoenix (Arizona), Albuquerque (New Mexico), and Oklahoma City; just to name a few.

There have been numerous albums released under the Salty Water Records label, but most popular are: Mobbstylfiggaz (1999), Street Supply (2000), Latin Legacy (2000), and Latin Legacy “Under Surveillance” (2002). Mr. Bustamante’s lyrical talents are showcased in songs such as: One In A Million, Nasty Girl (Just A Friend To Me), Million Dollar Stars, Should Of, If I Had It My Way, Street Supply, Make It Hot, and many more. Along with his musical projects he also made appearances on the Latin Throne DVD Vol. 1 (1999) and Money, Power and Respect documentary (2003).
PanchoV is soon to release his most recent single, “444 Real” and new album, “Resurrection”, (December 31, 2011) much to the excitement of his already strong army of fans. With the single, album and documentary expected to be a success, this long awaited “Resurrection” is certain to gain support from fans across the South, the nation and the world.
