ENGLISH: Italian Folk Revival from Celtic and Bluegrass point of view

Dedicated to all the Italian and the Italian’s sons and daughters far from Italy…
It is not the usual Italian traditional music like pizzica or taratella, but … finally it’s something different!

Dear surfer,

I’d like to introduce “Pandemonio folk band”, a group of professional artists who are working to promote Italian traditional music.

Since 2000, we have dedicated ourselves to the valorisation and the recovery of the Italian traditional music- in particular the folk music of the northern part of Italy- and have played in local TV channels, radio and festivals.

Believing you are also interested in it, we propose you our CD “Il raccolto” (The Harvest), the product of our 4-year work; in our project, there is all the heart, the soul and the abilities we had to express the love for our traditions and our culture: it is a fabulous CD!

We have re-elaborated the Italian tradition and then we have transferred it in new musical worlds, spacing from Celtic music to country and blue-grass music.
The result? A FRESH, ORIGINAL AND MODERN SOUND!!!

The CD also includes 3 tracks that explore outside the Italian tradition, but they have been arranged with Italian flavour and style and therefore they always represent our point of view. The CD is encased in a luxury digipak with gatefold flaps containing a booklet of 12 coloured pages describing each song/piece of music.

Dedicato a tutti gli italiani e ai figli degli italiani all’estero…
Non è la solita pizzica o tarantella, ma … finalmente qualcosa di differente!

Caro navigatore,

vorrei presentare il nostro gruppo folk, “Pandemonio”, che si occupa di promuovere la musica tradizionale italiana.

Dal 2000 ci dedichiamo alla valorizzazione e al recupero della musica tradizionale italiana- in particolare della tradizione lombardo-veneto- ed il gruppo ha partecipato a varie manifestazioni, incluse esibizioni in Radio, in TV locali, in teatri.

Credendo che la cosa sia anche di vostro interesse, vi proponiamo il nostro CD "Il raccolto", il frutto di un lavoro duro e accurato; nel nostro progetto c'è tutto il cuore, l'anima e le capacità che avevamo per esprimere l'amore per le nostre tradizioni e la nostra cultura: è un Cd favoloso!

Abbiamo rielaborato la tradizione italiana e poi l'abbiamo innestata in nuovi mondi musicali, spaziando dalla musica celtica al country.

Il risultato?!?: UN SOUND FRESCO, ORIGINALE E MODERNO!!!

Il CD include anche 3 tracce che rappresentano delle escursioni al di fuori dal tradizione italiana, ma arrangiate sempre con gusto e stile italiani; quindi, rappresentano sempre il nostro punto di vista.

Il CD è confezionato in un prestigioso digipack a 3 ante con un libretto a colori di 12 pagine con la descrizione di ogni brano.
