Still Their Best
author: Rod McCarvel
Make no mistake - these guys continue to make amazing music to this very day, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with their newer releases. Still, even after 11 years, this record stands as their masterpiece. Every time I hear the title track, "Molinos," I am struck (as I was the first time I heard it) by how refreshing it is to encounter a song about a difficult subject (mental illness) which manages to incorporate both humor and genuine empathy - AND which rocks with a pop hook about a mile wide. The rest of the record is just as strong - the rave-up stomp of "Oh Maria," the simultaneous joy and regret of "After the First Time," the raw pathos of "Same For Everyone," the multicultural melting pot of "Crashing Down," the sly, snotty humor of "Salvation." Just buy it - you won't regret it.

No Denying It
author: Ian Grimes
The Paperboys have become one of my favourite bands after they played live in 2007 at the Perthshire Amber festival in Pitlochry Scotland. Molinos is probably my third favourite of their albums after Road to Ellenside and Dilapidated Beauty. Their variety, energy and musicality are second to none, well worth buying. Listen to the album 3 or 4 times and you will be hooked!

One of my BEST CDs
author: Sean
This CD has been in my top five discs since I first purchased it(in 1999) after Paperboys opened for a local band in Portland OR. I have seen them perform live in Portland, Seattle, and even Boston. This disc is up beat, ragin, boot stompin music and should make their STOMPY records very proud.
