Album Notes

Paperface returns with a brand new full length album, The Legend of Harley Knowles. It was recorded at Thro's in York, PA during the Spring and Summer of 2004. Despite every member of the band going to school full time and working during the summer, they perservered and created an album that will appeal to all types of music fans. Chris Merritt, the main composer of the group, has crafted melodies that will take you back to your Pinkerton days and leave you wanting more.

That's what I do; listen to it over & over & over. It get's better everytime I listen to it. The piano is unbelievable and the guitars just flow in a sound that you have never heard before. Good luck guys.

Seldom is an album so mindbogglingly awesome that it makes me angry. Upon first listening to The Legend of Harley Knowles, I felt betrayed by every musician I've ever loved. If it were always possible to rock this hard, how come nobody ever has? So, either my favorite rock artists are all lazy and uninspired, or Paperface has revolutionized rock as I know it. Either way, this album is on my heavy rotation.

Have you crapped your pants lately? In, say, the last ten years? If not, you've been missing out. Nothing can replace that joyous endorphin rush caused by such a guilty pleasure...This album can help you, though. These dulcid tones will leave your bowels shuddering and tears in your eyes. If you don't believe me, just listen to the samples on this page. Buy the album, put it in your Walkman/Discman/iPod, make sure you're standing up (in order to get the full effect), and listen. As that warm brown makes its way down the inside of your thighs, held close to your skin by the tight jeans you've been wearing - don't forget to thank your lucky stars for songs like 'Company Soul', 'Karen', and 'One Track Mind'.

There are so many horrible musicians out there, but I have never seen or heard such an amazing group of musicians at the young level they are currently at...I see nothing but success in the future. The CD has some great songs worth listening to, my personal favorite being 'Familiar Faces'...I find myself humming it everywhere I go. Definitely a good purchase
