paper and metal is a combination of the inner workings of two distinct areas of the mind of Liam Sanipe. On one side you have the acoustic guitar and vocal melodies intertwined with one another in union, while on the other side you find the harsh workings of a troubled electronic machine chugging through its work. These combine and become what we call paper and metal.

paper and metal has informally been in existence for about 2 years now. Over that time Liam has spent countless hours translating his thoughts, emotions and soul into his music without any real direction other than the need to express himself. Over the last 6 months or so there has come a desire to do more than just write music however. The need to make his voice and music heard began to challenge Liam to take his expressions to the next level, and make them available to everyone through recording this EP.

At 20 years of age, Liam has a wide variety of musical influences and that comes through loud and clear throughout this project. it is Liam’s fervent hope that you are able to appreciate his unique style and that you will continue to support him down the road.
