World music that kicks ass. Powerful political and musical statement. Fans of Mahavishnu Orchestra and King Crimson should eat this up. This is their best work as far as I am concerned. Great use of vocal samples. A great concept band all the way around.

Egads! Noam Chomsky, Michael Parenti! Skip your Berkley Philosophy class and just sit down and get an earful of Paranoise! An under-current of Tribal, Middle Eastern, and Indian chants and rythyms mingled with modern beats and liberal rants!! I adore it!!! It is beautiful, stimulating, and vibrant!! A little self-important, but who cares! These guys are putting it out there with no apologies!

Simply one of the best music I've ever heard! Paranoise is a great band indeed! Their fusion of arab influences, oriental grooves and King Crimsonish wall of guitar enlightened by that wonderfully light violin is absolutely unique. The bass playing is awesome in this moving landscapes of rythm and beats. The percussion's work mixes in a adventurous ways some subtle arabian patterns with some powerful rythm à la Bruford. The amazing musicality of these musicians leads them to write some very memorable melodies, some catchy tunes with some lyrics that have a real meaning.Clever and talented band, Paranoise deserves to be world known.

Hard work pays good sometimes. This is one of those moments. This album is pretty good and not hard to listen to. The mixture of styles is done with class. Sometimes a bit heavy (but not to much), odder times it reminds me (in a way) of what P. Gabriel do add that with intch of Kansas (!!!) By no means this is not pop music and it's not hard do diggest either!!!
