Album Notes

As a comedian, Rob Paravonian has appeared on Comedy Central, VH1, and a few other basic cable channels. Rob has also performed at comedy clubs from Coast to Coast including the Improv in Hollywood, Catch a Rising Star in New York, and the Jukebox Comedy Club in Peoria, IL!! Woo! Peoria!

Rob's background as a musician and member of power-pop bands has given him the musical chops to produce funny music that has a level of songwriting prowess not often seen in the comedy/music genre. His songs have been heard nationally on the Dr. Demento Show as well as college radio across the country, he's written and produced theme songs for cartoons and art stars, and his music was recently featured on the Comedy Central.com spotlight section.

He's been described by critics as "some deranged bastard child of Tom Lehrer and Joan Baez" and "truly alternative, truly comic."

All of these songs are fun (I dare you not to smile through "Kiana" or "Pachelbel"). Many of them have a message that isn't always fun, but it's always funny. Rob covers everything from today's music scene to medication to the prison system. Definitely give this a listen; it's more than worth buying.
