Album Notes

Recorded at Morgan Studios, London in 1977 and originally mastered at Abbey Road, Open Up was never released - until now.
The musicians who appear here with Derek include Madeline Bell ( who backed Joe Cocker on "With a little help from my friends " ), Tony "Gad" Robinson ( of the favorite English reggae band Aswad ), Robbie McIntosh
( guitarist with the Pretenders and Paul McCartney) and Huey Lewis guesting on harmonica.
Remastered and sonically restored Open Up is finally available. The cover artwork cleverly mimics the original cover and has many more photos inside.
Like a time capsule, play this and release the scent and sense of a different time and place. A classic !!
