In 1996 Derek teamed up with producer and guitarist Steve Trembley to continue his maturing vision of real life transformation, starting with observations of the gross world (the murders of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman) and ending with the return into the universal source of all, the purifying realm of spirit. Musicians accompanying him on this project include cellist Jami Sieber, guitarist Steve Trembley, uillean pipe maestro Tom Creegan and renowned fiddle player Kevin Burke.
