womad
author: carmel keogh
This just brings back so many memories of womad!! I\'ve been going there for years but seeing the pascals is definately my most vivid memory of it. I was right at the front with my best friend and we had such a great time. I\'ve since met great people who are now close friends who were also there and absolutely loved the performance. The pascals have always reminded me of penguin cafe orchestra only even more playful so how could I not love them? So, thanks guys for a brilliant day at womad and happy memories.

Magical

Also discovered Pascals at WOMAD and although the music does not have the unbelievable beauty that it has when played live it is still a wonderous experience. Yes, Penguin Cafe Orchestra but without the pretention. A drug free psychedelic experience, truely happy music. The sky is blue indeed...

After discovering the Pascals live at WOMAD, Reading, England this summer, this was my second Pascals CD. Its delicate quirky orchestral style with toy instruments and musical saws reminds me of the Penguin Cafe Orcherstra and Sigur Ros. The music has a simple structure but is beautifully crafted without being too perfect. Listen to Pascals and smile - their music is so uplifting.
