"Warning" was written in 2003 first as a response letter to a professor at Drexel University that said in front of a Medical Science class, "the biologist theory of evolution is just as valid as the theory of Mary and Jesus." That statement that he made sparked something inside of me. As I sat there I wondered to myself, "of all the religions why did this professor single out Christianity" and "why did he mention religion at all in a Science class"? I wrote him a letter which was the birth of the poem "Warning" and while I was writing it I began to realize that this doctorate degree in Bioengineering is not for me. Eventually, I dropped out of the program and began to follow my true passion by starting Making Others Righteous Prison Ministry (501 C 3) with the goal of spreading the Word of God through gospel poetry and gospel rap. Songs that I have performed in prisons all over the World I am now making available to the public.
