Album Notes

I don't have any children of my own, but come from a family of six, and have many nieces and nephews - a lot of the songs in this CD were done with them in mind. It was fun to learn their reaction when I used some of their names in the songs. I wrote all the songs, did all the instrumentation, and all but one of the vocals ("Rumble Fish" was done by my dear step-daughter, April), and did the cover artwork on this CD.
I was born in Dallas, but raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and grew to love its style of music. My wife and I moved to Nashville from Los Angeles a few years ago when I was lucky enough to have one of my songs placed on a CD by a new artist.

I've been a pro musician most of my life, played in various bands, and as a solo artist, have opened for some major acts, but have been concentrating on writing for the past several years.

I've written over 400 songs in different genres, including country, pop, rock, R & B, and holiday music. I play guitar, bass, mandolin, banjo, fiddle, drums, and a little piano.

I think there's a child in all of us and hopefully that part of us will also enjoy this music. Our two cats, Gigi and Lil' Rascal, seem to like it - hope you do too!
