Known for her rich velvety voice and strong emotional delivery, Patience's vocal style keeps one foot firmly in the tradition of country music while the other is always kicking forward. Her debut cd "Patience", just released by Rab Records, is already getting airplay and great reviews. Her songs reflect both wisdom and a sense of humor. Patience is joined by Van Manakas, producer for Rounder Records and Windham Hill and virtuoso guitarist and composer.

I looked at the cover of Patience Moore's CD and saw a close-up picture of a pretty woman with lovely blue-green eyes and long blonde hair. Equally refreshing is the music contained in this modern country singer's new release, simply titled "Patience". Moore's actual songs make for great listening. As soon as the cool bass beat of track one,"Heartaches Meet Mr. Blues" hits your ears and the vocals come souring in, the musical maturity of this effort is established.
