Album Notes

Reviews and Press

"If Radiohead was indie”
The Stranger

"It’s like finding treasure on a beach that’s somehow been missed by hundreds of metal detector-toting people. In a scene that is quickly being filled with more bad music than good, Patient Patient is entirely refreshing."
Wonka Vision Magazine

"Complex, driven, and unbelievably depressing at times. Sort of like Depeche Mode with a sprinkling of Radiohead, Muse, and Coldplay all mixed into one fantastic band. Indie rockers that rock hard in a melancholic and downtrodden way with insanely melodic vocals that are peppered with soothing harmonies. Deft and one to watch."
Smother Magazine

"Burton’s voice is dynamic and full of possibilities. Beautiful in a melancholy kind of way, like the way sometimes it can be so good to be sad. Definitely Yorke similarities, but some of the deliveries delightfully remind me of Cursive."
What's Up Magazine

"Patient Patient’s first album Professionals and Convicts is as dramatically powerful as it is, at times, soft-spoken, and it is that delicate balance which intoxicates. The fact that it’s a first—and labels… pay attention… these guys are unsigned—is even more remarkable, given the technical quality and sheer power of Professionals and Convicts."
