The Pat Little Band had its genesis in the worship movement at Campus Crusade at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. The band is made up of five Cal Poly students—Danny Kim, Dylan Bowes, Pat Little, Keith Wohlert, and Scott Head. “We’re not trying to do anything new,” says Little. “We want to do what people have been doing for thousands of years—lead people to our Creator.” 2007 will see the release of the band’s first album, As Ourselves. The title comes from the notion that worship should come from an honest place of realizing our broken state before God, but at the same time stand assured in His grace as His redeemed children. “God uses simple people, and that’s what we are,” says Kim, violinist and guitarist for the band. “We’re five guys whose hearts’ desire is to see people impacted for the Kingdom. He’s chosen us to do it through music, and we couldn’t be more thrilled.”
