Pat Longo & his band have performed for the "Academy Awards",Governor's Ball,several occasions, High level weddings
such as ,Kelsey Grammer, Rod Stewart,Michael McDonald, Rob
Thomas of Matchbox 20/Santana, John Travolta etc.etc..
Though his initial career started in the banking industry,
as a gifted saxophonist/clarinetist,he decided to focus on
music full-time and joined the renowned HARRY JAMES BAND...
After three years with James,along with James blessing,
Longo formed his own band.
His first recording"Chain Reaction" propelled the driven leader and his all-star lineup into major clubs,casinos and
concert halls around the country...working with such "stars"
as,Tony Bennett,Sarah Vaughan,Shirley Jones,James Darren,
Neil Diamond, Rosemary Clooney,and too many entertainers to
name...
Being aware of ever-changing trends,and offering a variety of styles,there followed several more notable recordings,
"Crocodile Tears",produced by Lincoln Mayorga,increased airplay by 1000 plus radio stations...A second Mayorga collaboration which included vocalist Frank Sinatra Jr. was a
dedication to the legendary arranger Billy May...Titled "Billy May For President" it featured tributes by a number
of America's top arrangers.
Two of Pat's most recent recordings are "Extreme Heat" and
"The Hit List" which features a track # 1 "Bandstand Boogie"
which was used on the Hit HBO Series "The Sopranos" The
Show has used several of Pat's recording in various episodes
