The answer, They and many others have all utilized the services of one of the most versatile big bands in the
country:THE PAT LONGO ORCHESTRA.
Though his initial career was banking,as a gifted saxophonist/clarinest, he decided to focus on music full-
time and joined the renowned HARRY JAMES BAND.
Being aware of ever-changing trends,and offering a variety of styles,there followed several more notable
recordings: CROCODILE TEARS,CHAIN REACTION,BILLY MAY FOR
PRESIDENT, featuring FRANK SINATRA JR.,HERE'S THAT SWING
THING, and his recent recording;EXTREME HEAT featuring
Latin/Jazz Big Band.
The Longo train has made many stopts. He has performed
at THE ACADEMY AWARDS,GOVERNOR'S BALL, NEW YEARS EVE GALA at the DOROTHY CHANDLER PAVILION along with famed conductor
ZUBIN MEHTA, AND THE L.A.PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA,CAESAR'S
PALACE,GOLDEN NUGGET to name a few. He continues to provide music for all BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA events and Pat and his orchestra are part of UNITED AIRLINES in-flight programming.
