Album Notes

Patrick Hall got all the way to the Top 24 on last seasons American Idol. Unfortunately the clock stopped there for him. Many fans felt Patrick's voice was one of the better ones in the competition & should have never been voted off so soon. Instead of letting those emotions hold him back or beat him down, though, Hall decided to turn that negative into a positive. He wrote "One For The Ages" which is not only about his personal experience of being on "American Idol" and falling short, but about the whole process of trying to win at anything in life. Now, the song is the first single off Patrick's upcoming album, also titled 'One For The Ages', on Ni-Fi Records. His voice is intense & powerful yet smooth & soulful. His piano playing is reminiscent of a young Elton John. Also included on this CD is the club remixes which are sure to be a dance floor anthem and a beautiful unplugged acoustic piano mix. This enhanced CD also contains photos, bio and the new video which is a funny parody of the popular reality talent show but set as a kids school recital.

"Patrick should have made it very far on the show but he seems to be doing very well for himself and that's really good to see. He deserves any success that he has. I'll be purchasing his album the day it's released, I can't wait."

He didn't need American Idol. He is very good and I found myself smiling and rocking back and forth to this song- that isn't like me ... I usually do not like male singers all that much- I only like them if they have a certain quality to their voice that can give me chills or if they sing better than me- I like that. This was a really good song.
