Album Notes

Patrick Lee is exceedingly tall and handsome and has been the latter since birth. He was a pretty strict vegetarian until recently. He studied jazz piano at the University of Colorado at Boulder and enjoys cooking Italian food in his kitchen.

As well as writing, recording, and producing over a dozen albums himself, Lee also founded the noisy Colorado funk bands the Analog Quartet and Doctor X, and is currently one-half of indie-rock monolith The Beebs. And when he’s not conquering the electro-hip hop-dance scene, Lee still finds time for solo and ensemble work in the Denver jazz scene.

While classically trained, it's easy to see the influences of jazz, hip-hop, and indie rock in Lee's works. Over the span of his lengthy discography we hear samples of instructional videos, soul singers, classic jazz horns, and popular cartoons from our childhood - all the while, his infectious beats and clever playing mold a soundtrack for the world around us.

Patrick Lee is a very nice guy, but he probably bets on sports more than your whole family combined.
