PATTY TUITE has released three CDs to date: “Live at the Tic Toc” (1997), “Girls Night Out” (2002) and “Blonde and Blue” (2008). These CDs contain several original compositions as well as some covers, in styles ranging from blues to folk to jazz. Patty\'s memorable vocal style makes an impression when listening to her songs. Patty started playing guitar and singing at open mike sessions in the early 90’s. Bonnie Raitt’s influence on her style is unmistakable! Some of her other female heroes are Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James and Debbie Davies. She formed The Patty Tuite Band in 1999, which has played throughout the region gaining fans at clubs, functions, and summer concert festivals. The band competed in the finals of the Connecticut Blues Society’s “Blues Challenge” in 2001 and 2005. Due to their showing at the CTBS statewide competitions, two of Patty’s originals have been included on the CTBS compilation CDs, “Local Flavor” (2003) and “Blue State Blues” (2007).
In 2007, Patty was a judge for the CT Blues Challenge and formed her current band, Patty Tuite & the Boilermakers. The band plays a diverse repertoire of blues, swing, jazz and classic rock ‘n’ roll, as well as their popular originals, having fun through it all!
