Album Notes
Paul Blanchard, son of the enigmatic country singer Saratoga Red, is proud to announce the release of his fourth full-length album, Side Yard Barking.

This album is all about the songs and the music. From the humorously poignant (if not esoteric) metaphor of the title track, to the weightiness of Worthless Tramp, the album was produced with a minimalist approach, free from over-production and not a lot of "studio trickery". The sound is purely organic as a result, which allows the songs to speak for themselves.

Simply great!
The tracks on this great CD range from cleverly metaphoric (the title track) to insightful and poignant (Make A Change - a personal favorite), but they all have one thing in common: exceptional song craft. These songs are chock-full of catchy vocal melodies and subtle guitar hooks (not to mention great bass playing) - all performed by Paul himself. Do yourself a favor and buy this CD!
