Album Notes

Paul is a New York-based musician and songwriter. Most fans say his style is mellow, but with enough edge to keep listeners coming back for more. Trained in the guitar traditions of Gordon Lightfoot, Dan Fogelberg, and James Taylor, he's also been influenced by neo-folkies like Jewel and Fiona Apple, and by blues/pop legends like Bonnie Raitt.

A distinctive blend of pop, folk, and blues, his debut album, Love Comes at a Price, explores the range of emotions that makes a romantic relationship so wonderful - and so terrifying.

Nice songwriting and voices here. However, my favorite is still the cover of "Summertime."

I really like the interesting and creative blend of styles on these songs--not just blues, folk, and pop, but jazz in some songs, too. The album is just right for listening to when you're feeling mellow or reflective.
