Album Notes

Paul began his career at the young age of ten. A self taught guitarists and bass player, Paul joined his first band (Pegasus) at seventeen in 1977. Paul enlisted into the United States Marine Corp in 1980 and formed a group to play local venues. After an honorable discharge in 1984 he played unaccompanied until 1988 when he was recruited to play bass guitar for the band Night Wolf a semi-successful national based band.

Paul eventually left Night Wolf and remained a solo act until 1993. A co-worker named Timothy A. Jordan courted Mr. Lopez into joining his band called The Vine, a flourishing central California group. Paul was tasked with the role as rhythm and lead guitarists. Paul left The Vine in May of 1996 and collaborates with many artists as a studio musician.

His first CD entitled, “Palms”, was released in 2000. He his currently recording a new album scheduled to be released in 2011. In addition, he is recording bass and some lead and rhythm guitar tracks on Turney & Jordan’s 2010, Dying Cow Productions release of “Relics”.
