Audiences have been captivated by Pauline Bennick's vocal presentations and personality ever since she first hit the professional stage. Her career has been on an upward spiral ever since.
Her powerful voice and ability to deliver material tailored to the audience has made Pauline one of the most sought-after performers on the jazz festival, convention, cabaret and casino circuits today.
Pauline's Cd "Rendezvous" includes remakes of favorite contemporary hits from the 60's and 70's like "It's Too Late Baby" and "Come on Baby Light My Fire" in a 'smooth jazz' style. Even the country standard, "Crazy" has been updated - Pauline says her version is the saddest she's ever heard. You will also go crazy for Pauline's two original songs: the aching "Morning Rendezvous" and the earthy "Dirty Talk"! Pauline says, "I always try to tell a true story that people can relate to." (Although she won't revewal the source of her material!) This Cd also features well known jazz musicians, Kim Waters, Ed Hamilton and Barry Sames.
Pauline Bennick has toured the country, performing at resorts in the Catskills, the casinos of Las Vegas, Bahamas and Atlantic City, as well as nightclubs in New York City, New Orleans, Florida, and much of the East Coast. Pauline has appeared on several nationally televised events and has recorded numerous radio and TV commercials and jingles. She was a regular backup singer for Rosemary Clooney, and a featured solo vocalist in her concerts.
Pauline has written, produced and performed in specialty shows for select nightclubs, cabarets and dinner theaters up and down the East Coast. She has also been a featured act at jazz festivals in the U. S. and is a favorite at special events and conventions.
"Rendezvous" was the featured Cd for the month of December, 2004 on "Love 104.9FM", WZMR, the smooth jazz radio station in the New York area. This Cd continues to have successful radio play and sales in both the U.S. and especially the Euorpean markets. This cd was consistently used by Bose to demonstrate their sound systems at the King of Prussia Mall, PA, as well as other locations.
Look for Pauline's new Christmas Cd (which is currently in the works, probably won't be available until 2010) entitled "Falling in Love Again At Christmas". This Cd will be comprised of everyone's all time favorite holiday love songs in Pauline's style. Pauline says this will be a hot one....creating a few of it's own sparks in front of the fireplace!
