New Snow...

Rethink Christmas; Rethink Classics. New Snow is the way I hear all the wonderful Christmas carols that we all grew up with. I have always found Christmas to be a special and magical time of the year and I have long yearned to share with the way the way these tunes play inside my head. In New Snow, I want to present to all of you all my favorite songs in ways you have never heard them.

Rethink Harmonies; Rethink Melodies. The album completely dissemble all the songs and rebuild them from the ground up. Every track was improvised straight from my mind. They use every influence of music I have ever came across into my own quintessential, definitive Kwo sound. They borrow from Traditional, Classical, Jazz, Pop, World and many other sounds that run wildly through my mind. But in the end, I simply wanted to create a beautiful, moody Christmas that we could all sit in front of a fireplace, hold a cup of warm coco and enjoy the night away with good company of friends and family.

In his New Snow album, Paul Kwo with his improv techniques, has taken all the traditional melodies that we are familiar with and rebuilt them from the ground up. He brings to the holidays that we are all too familiar with a new and refreshing sonic experience. It is one that we can relate to, but we are not sick of. It is surely an album that will bring you many hours of joy in the holiday season and even year round.

Paul Kwo also brings to this album 3 original tracks including the title track New Snow. It brings a new purity to this wonderful season of blessings and amazements. It is like a child tasting the new snow of the season fresh again. With hope, with grace and with love, Paul Kwo shares his holiday spirit of love, peace and happiness with his originals and reinterpretations of the classics.
