Organist Paul Richardson is probably best known as the long-time stadium organist (just completed 36 years!) for the Philadelphia Phillies. From 1978 through 1982, Paul also played the organ for the New York Yankees when the Phillies were on the road. Listening to Paul may not be "the" national pastime, but it has become a Philadelphia pastime for hundreds of thousands of fans. Paul's CD's and tapes include ballpark favorites, swing, big band, popular, and contemporary tunes.

Paul was a great inspiration to everyone who knew him. I met him at the Vet during a Phillies game, and at a Phillies caravan in Harrisburg, Pa. I am sorry he passed on. In my opinion, he is the best organist in baseball
