As the Philadelphia Phillies stadium organist, Paul Richardson's music has become just as much a part of the game as peanuts and hot dogs. When he is not behind the organ at the ball park, Paul performs throughout the Delaware Valley for sports and social events, parties and ceremonies. His music ranges fom big band to show tunes to pop rock & roll. Audiences get a chance to hear a master musician play a wide variety of music all coming from the same instruments used at the ball park. This recording features Paul at the Roland Atelier Organ, recorded at Veterans Stadium. It includes Buzz Barkley's fun interview with Paul that took place during a game along with the all-time favorite "Crazy" and a "Spike Jones type" rendition of "Cocktails for Two" with sound effects mixed in. Good for a few chuckles!

My Prayers were answered
author: Harold WismanI runa PA system for Little League Baseball In Harrisburg. This CD is a great addition, since I have nothing to play between innings. If the Phillies think they miss Paul, They should know also, that I will miss his music. He is definitely the best in baseball.

It's What I Was Looking For
author: hei_de_mBought this for a baseball-theme party at a long term care community. Most songs are exactly what I was looking for, but there is an interview and some slower/modern songs. (My residents are older and prefer more traditional tunes). I will put it on my iPod and play the peppier songs over and over again at the party. The quality is good and I feel that I got what I paid for.
