ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
ELECTRONIC MUSICIAN MAGAZINE WROTE:

"Fresh-Picked Music: Pavmire

Meet Pavmire, an electronica, industrial, and trip-hop group based in Houston, Texas. Heavily influenced by the likes of Depeche Mode, Pavmire offers solid beats, balanced instrumentation, and vocals that are very easy on the ears. Using Propellerhead Reason and a Roland MC-303 to produce their instrumentals, and Sony Sound Forge and Sony Vegas to record, they produce a sound that is clean, but not so scrubbed that it sounds like they edited the life out of their tracks…”

CryoDream
I don't know if this CD fits into a category; does sexually-charged, mysterious, darkly erotic Triphop describe it? Not exactly. I don't think it can fit in a category, but I love every single track on this whole album. Pavmire is one of my favorite groups and this CD is an absolute must-have. I highly recommend it!

Dan Mode

A bold new sound for all fans of 80's electronica
I first came across Pavmire while searching for new talent that resembled my favorite boys from Basildon, Depeche Mode. I have to say that I was pleasantely surprised in my findings. While not knowing exactly what to expect, I found myself hypnotized by what I was hearing.

For such a new band to have a full sweeping sound as Pavmire does is simply astounding. These guys emote a feeling of being around the blockfor a good long time, and that's refreshing to hear from artists of today.

This album encapsulates what I feel to be the heart and soul of Pavmire. Dark and sexy melodies accompanied with sensual and alluring lyrics make this band an exciting feast for the ears. While not being too over the top or filling their tracks with too much instrumentation, Pavmire understands how to use just the right amount of what they need to convey a sense and mood specific to each track.

I have too many favorites to choose from on this album, and I notice that I loop it on occasion simply because it all flows nicely from start to finish. If you are looking for a new band that has a feeling of the glory days of electronica, yet bring something new to the table and have their own signature feel, then give Pavmire a listen. I have a feeling you won't be disappointed.
