Pavonia: Rock/Electronic/Experimental music project out of Jersey City NJ. Taking its name from Jersey City's old moniker, the band's style is decidedly urban, a refreshingly eclectic but coherent mix of daring melodicism, guitar driven hard rock, and electronic splash. Adventurous spirit and constant exploration are part of Pavonia's motto. Influences range wide, Nine Inch Nails, Soundgarden, Stevie Wonder, Springsteen, and Brit Pop to name a few. The first release is the album "Listen" completed in March 2005.
