Album Notes

PAX NINDI Harare Dread and his music get stronger every year!
Early Days is an album that marks his early days in Europe since he left his homelands in 1985. It was supported by an international tour covering UK, USA, Europe, Brazil and Afrika.

Afrikan Roots Reggae lives on!.
"Early Days" album features compilations of Harare Dread's early recordings and some of his songs, which were not allowed on Zimbabwean airwaves due to their controversial lyrics e.g. Innervision and Wrong Road. This album sung in Shona, Chewa and English languages has strong African and reggae music vibes with a lot of dub mixes and extended dub on the vocal songs.
Wrong Road and Original Style are given to you in full with no censorship on the words or music.
With lyrics in Shona and Chewa backed by the rhythms of Jamaica, Zimbabwe, Malawi and UK the man still remains the unchallenged master of live roots Afrikan reggae. Harare Dread's live performance is high energy dubbed by his critics as a sight not to miss.
Within his indoor live concerts Harare Dread translates the Afrikan language through the use of his Dubvision setup on giant screens which has earned him the title 'The World's first Dub VJ" as witnessed at Jah Shaka sessions, Glastonbury, Kolkata Festival and Coronet Theatre.

Come Back Pax
author: Frenchy Atar
Saw this legend perform in Olinda Carnival where he is now the main known African artists in NE Brazil. Love the music and would like to hear the new tunes he played with the Brazilian backing band. It will be a big lose if some of the concerts Pax did in Brazil were not recorded. We want him back in Brazil and my husband who from Marcelo Santana band cant wait to play with him again. Come CD Baby give us more of our Zimbabwean legend!!!

Can not compare this album with any. Not sure if this has been released to relook at the Zimbabwe situation or this is prophesy revised? Keep up your thought provoking lyrics and beat Harare. Would like to see more Afrikan music dubbed as you do it
